YEREVAN — Armenian National Assembly Vice Speaker Ruben Rubinyan commented on the latest revelations published by the Anti-Corruption Committee.
According to one of the investigations, a representative of the Strong Armenia party allegedly reached agreements with others to provide bribes to Armenian citizens living abroad and transport them to Armenia in exchange for voting for the party in the parliamentary elections. At least one individual has already been arrested.
“Those coming from Russia through vote-buying schemes are already being arrested and will spend the next seven years in prison,” Rubinyan stated.
